Koselig hytte, lett å finne frem og å komme seg inn. Litt nærme E39, og derfor litt bilstøy som hørtes inn på hytta. Samtidig var hytta plassert på fjellet, og lå rett ved langrennsløype og rett ved mange toppturmuligheter. Hytta var koselig!

Everything was perfect. 50m to cross-country skiing tracks. So a peaceful and calm cabin. Cozy inside with fireplace and comfy sofa. We will back there definitely for skiing!

What a lovely cabin! This isn't a typical Airbnb place, as the owners use it so it is much more homely and comfortable. We didn't meet Egil in person but as the listing was new when we booked, we needed to communicate about the booking and facilities. He was always quick to respond and very friendly in his communications. I hope Egil will add more pictures to his listing as the few included don't do full justice to the cabin. The location is just off the E39 and was easy to find with the instructions although the location is outside Gjemnes. There are two bedrooms, with plenty of space for a family - just be aware that one bedroom is in the loft, so perhaps less suitable for the old or very young. Our teenage daughter loved it. There are additional beds in the main bedroom which add flexibility. There is also some lovely outdoor space and sheltered seating. We only stayed one night by special arrangement after a misunderstanding when I booked, but really enjoyed the stay and would love to have stayed longer. There seems to be some good hiking trails nearby. I would definitely recommend Egil's cabin.
