PLEASE READ : I have been apart of the AirBnB community as a Guest and Host countless times and not every experience is ideal. Unfortunately this experience with Elijah was one. I had booked this AirBnB for my wife and I on our Anniversary Getaway thru Alaska road-trip after asking to confirm what size bed was included in this room which Elijah confirmed and said was a Queen. I’m 6’5 and a queen bed is the smallest size bed I would fit into and book especially when with my wife to share, but Elijah’s misled me into booking this room with a Double bed, which is way too small for two full grown adults. The location of this AirBnB is very remote and rundown. The price point was/is very high for what you get especially with the fact it has a detached separate bathroom. The TV did not work and according to Elijah was not working since the last major wind storm to roll thru over two months prior. The room was/is 1 of 5 “Hotel” rooms offered in a modular building that was poorly reconstructed. The going rate is $100 for a room that should not be labeled as a “Hotel” room as there are standards that have to be met in order to meet that level. This certainly was not a Hotel Room !! We checked in late, around 10pm and shortly after reached out to Elijah about the issues and miscommunication he had made and after some going back and forth offered me a refund at a time closer to midnight. I accepted after being strongly inconvenienced. We did not involve AirBnB resolution center and maybe we should of because after spending the night, we were rudely accused of spending the night after the refund was issued. Elijah did not state that we needed to move out after being issued the refund, so we stayed and were in huge discomfort as we had no where else to go in a very remote small town with it also being very late. We were stranded. How can a host expect you to leave so late after inconveniencing you so much already. Anyways, we left early in the morning and left the place very clean just as we found it. I must say as a AirBnB Host, I would never force my guests to abandon and leave forcefully at midnight in a very remote location after something I mistakenly did to so much inconvenience them. I’m sorry but the Host here has to work on being ethical and on better communication.

locali puliti e accessoriati. Check in veloce. Ottimo il parcheggio di fronte alla struttura. Elijah si è dimostrato attento e disponibile.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt neben der Alaska-Bahn, die ca. stündlich fährt. Dabei hupt sie 12mal extrem laut, sodass das wirklich nervig und unangenehm ist. Die Bahn fährt zwar von 11 PM bis 6 AM nicht, aber ausschlafen ist in der Unterkunft nicht! Um 5 AM kam bei uns plötzlich jemand ins Zimmer - unendlich gruselig! Die Toiletten sind nicht beim Zimmer, sondern am anderen Ende der Unterkunft, was auch nicht komfortabel ist.
