We had a wonderful couple of days with our dog in Harold's Place. It’s a simple but fully equipped converted barn. Perfect location (about 30 minutes drive from D-day beaches, museums, etc.) Susan and John are friendly and helpful hosts and communication with them was smooth. we got a quick response to questions.

Everything was great and functional. All the beaches from WWII were near (Approx 30min by car) and the flat was perfect with a little garden and a barbecue. It's a quiet place and the hosts are really kind. Will come back if we will go to Normandy again.

Lovely gite created out of an old barn. Very rural location but near to a small town that has mostly everything you'll need. The very interesting history around the barn was a bonus. St. Lo is close for more demanding needs, with Bayeux being great if you like E. Leclerc (our favourite supermarche). Sue and John were very helpful with COVID testing and dog passport contacts. Any request we had was sorted as quck as... great hospitality.

Accueil très sympa chez Susan & John, le couple "très british" hôtes de cette mignonne petite maison dans la verdure. Cuisine très bien équipée, chaque chambre à l'étage a son propre sanitaire, lavabo WC, douche et wc aussi au rdc. Et si vous avez un peu de soleil et/ou une température acceptable, la terrasse dans le jardin est très agréable. Aucun bruit car éloignée de la route, en pleine campagne, à part peut-être le caquetage des poules et le concert des oiseaux le matin. Enfin, c'est supportable! Et tellement rare. Ambiance digne d'un cottage au fin fond du Kent! Un petit conseil pour les français: révisez un peu votre anglais avant de venir, ça ne pourra pas vous faire de mal, et facilitera la communication.
