What a gem...wow.
The place had a great view! I came here for a couple days to unplug and it was perfect for that. The donkeys and horses are so sweet and they love cuddles and they’re probably my favorite part of the stay 💕
Beautiful views! Thea was always easy to contact for anything. Just understand what RV life living consists of.
This AirBnb is exactly as described. We had a lovely stay, enjoyed the privacy, the quiet, and found ourselves well rested. Tim and I feel like we had the best AirBnB in the area. Will return! DIRECTIONS—perfect—I printed them before leaving. Internet is sketchy in that area. The driveway up is doable in a Honda Fit. We did not have any problems but it is a dirt road and windy so driving slowly is important. FOOD—We brought our own food in coolers because it is an RV. Large grocery stores are several minutes away (though there is a small market close to The Rock Inn). Thea has the camper situated to enjoy a beautiful view. We were lucky to have spent a little time with our host and the animals. Wonderfully passionate and kind. How lovely to have been welcomed to her home. This was my favorite AirBnb scenario because everyone was a winner-- it helped Tim, me, and the host! Thank you for a lovely stay. We wish you all the best!
Loved staying here! Super peaceful and the animals were a plus. Had issues with power but Thea was very responsive and helpful in finding the solution. Would stay again (:

Hi, I am English but live in California. I am all about the outdoors..... I love to walk and horse ride, my greatest passions are animals and music. I'm very social, and adventurous. I also love to go out, eat out, cook, read, learn about history, architecture, anthropology. Music is what gets me by in life! And I love to dance!!!! I studied Classics and Anthropology. I now run my own Pet Care business in Malibu. In 2021 I bought the ranch now known as Wild Horizon Farm. I have hosted for Airbnb previously, but this is where my accommodations are located. In Lake Hughes CA. It's been an incredible and challenging journey to get to this point. A ranch is ENDLESS work. There are horses, pigs, goats and other animals at the property. Its my dream to create a sanctuary for the animals but also - our guests. When you book you are supporting that, and the care of many of the rescue animals - so thank you!
