Charming 3 bedroom cabin, minutes away from Greers Ferry Lake and Sugarloaf Mountain. Amazing views of Higden Bay. If you're looking for a peaceful setting with plenty of room for the entire family, this is it! Wifi, Xbox, Board Games, Hiking Trail, and over an acre of land to enjoy! Great place to unwind with the family, girls or guys trip or solo retreat! This is a cabin in the woods and the look and feel of the home is just that, wooden, rustic feel. This is an older property that is getting some updates little by little by new owners. Please note: the third bedroom, the bunkroom that has 4 single beds, is a converted garage. There is a wall unit for AC and space heaters available if it’s cold. :) Access to the entire cabin and the land in front up to the dirt road that cuts in front of the property. The dirt road/trail is public access so feel free to bring your toys and ride the trail! The driveway is steep. Please be careful coming in and out and watch your step as there is a bit of drop off on the front side of the driveway.

I can't imagine a more beautiful view than the one from the 2nd deck. Yes, a second attached and higher deck provides incredible views of the lake . the view from the first deck ain't shabby either. We ended each day with a campfire we built in the rock-lined fire ring. My teenager loved sleeping in the bunk bead. This cabin is close to a local grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We could even find places open in the off season. Close to a lot of hiking of all difficulties. We had a slight difficulty getting into the cabin, but Amber was very responsive and solved the problem quickly. I would definitely stay here again. Great place to have a family getaway and it's dog friendly too.
What a gorgeous place!!! All I wanted to do was stay in the balcony and enjoy the amazing view!! It is absolutely stunning!!!! I rented Amber's home to spend New Year's Eve there and it was the best decision! The home was very clean and homey. I loved the location and the privacy! Amber was super helpful and answered any questions I had super quickly!!! Don't think about it, just rent it and stay there!
Very peaceful stay with family over the thanksgiving holiday. Plenty of space with gorgeous views. Caves and hiking trails only a short drive away. Only complaint is we wish the bed was a little more comfortable in the main bedroom. Mattress left a a lot to be desired. It was so thin you could feel the springs beneath you which would squeak and make noises at the slightest movement. I opted to sleep on the couch because it was much more comfortable. Other than that, our stay was great and the cabin was exactly as depicted.
We enjoyed our stay in Higden! The cabin was perfect for our two families, especially the "kid cave" as we called it. We enjoyed the view from the decks, the fire pit, and the large yard was perfect for our boys to run around and throw the ball. Amber was friendly and responsive and check-in was easy. We would definitely recommend Amber's place to others. Thank you!
It was exactly what we was looking for. Quiet peaceful and was able to enjoy being around family.

Greers Ferry is just a five minute drive where you will have access to all of your creature comforts. You can launch small boats, jet skis etc at the end of Tice road, there is a slip for your larger water toys a few miles away.
