The cabin is pretty cool and we liked the decor. There were plenty of games and a pool table. It was not super-well maintained for the price range. The inside was clean enough - it was just showing its age I guess. It's nice and big and slept everyone comfortably. One thing to be aware of: They are not joking when they say the steps are steep - both outside and inside. Anyone who can't manage very steep and irregularly spaced stairs would have a difficult time. They proactively called and told us about some storm damage to the dock and gave us a partial refund that we didn't even ask for, so that was very nice. We had a small issue with the door lock but they resolved that very quickly and communicated well.

If it rains the bedrooms and bathroom will have puddles at the least and up to 1/2 inch of water or more! Rain comes in thru closed windows. Mold is present. Water comes in right next to dining room table via open pipe. Son got sick from mold exposure. Upon arrival had to take care of laundry, dishwasher, and floors had not been done. There is tip jar for maid on counter. I don’t give handouts, I work hard, so should they! I did not know Airbnb could relocate us. This has never happened before. Now you know. The kitchen drawers and utensils dirty. Lights are very hard to locate if you come in the evening. Do not count on boardgames. They are toast! Pool table is small. Do not stand between the pool table and the windows. The floor is spongy at best. It is structurally unsafe! The stairs going down to bedrooms dangerous! Past check in evolve and Leslie nonexistent, no response to me or Airbnb. Airbnb has got cleaning deposit and a small % of one night refunded. Evolve $0 & no apologies!

Rustic and peaceful. Make sure you can do stairs.
