We absolutely loved our stay at Norrie’s place, from the moment we walked in it felt like home. It was spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean and very well situated in close proximity to Edinburgh city with regular buses just one minute walk from the front door. We had such sound sleep every night due to the comfy bed, fresh linen and of course blackout curtains which make a big difference. The area is so safe and peaceful with minimal noise and with Morrisons just on the doorstep it’s unbelievably great for bits and bobs too if needed. Lots of hot water for a nice relaxing bath at the end of a day’s exploring was just what we needed along with the provided fluffy towels and a hairdryer, what more could you ask for? We can honestly say we have never stayed in a place more welcoming with Norrie always at hand if we needed him. We’ve Airbnb’d for many years now and this place is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in.

The hosts communication was simple and professional. The interior was lovely and the balcony gave you access to a lovely view of Cammo walk. The accommodation had a nice kitchen with most of what you'd want for basic cooking ( minus a cheese grater haha). It was also a very short walk to get to the bus stop to make your way into the city centre, which was super convenient. It was a really lovely stay!

Norman was very responsive, friendly, and provided clear and simple instructions regarding check in/out. The studio was perfect for two people, and the exterior staircase provided a much welcomed sense of privacy and exclusivity. Also, a perfect location for a quick trip to Edinburgh’s attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Das Studio ist wirklich sehr schön gewesen, wir haben uns direkt super wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend ist ruhig und die Gastgeberin sehr nett. Dadurch, dass das Studio über einen separaten Eingang zu erreichen ist, hat man eine gewisse Privatsphäre. Die Ausstattung war modern und es war alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! we loved it

The property was easy enough to find & was an adequate base as a central point for our stay. Access is up a spiral staircase which would prove difficult for some people to manage.(This was made clear in the listing so was as expected). The local bus service was excellent (30 mins) for Edinburgh central. On arrival, the place felt as though it had been tidied after the previous guests had left but no more than that. For the price we paid we would have expected a little more in terms of basic supplies on arrival & even a few luxuries. On the surface the apartment is quite modern however it would benefit from more attention to the cleanliness (Air B'N'B service charge?) & a refresh of the decor wouldn't go amiss. Somewhere more comfortable than the 2 Barstools to eat at would help as would sharp knives & a few more pots & pans etc, for meal preparation. Overall, I would recommend this apartment for a couple of days stay or a long weekend if you can overlook the shortcomings.
