The house has a central location. It is clean and well maintained and the rooms are spacious for a 2 bedroomed property. There is parking nearby. The decking outside provides an outdoor space with a green view. It is easy to walk to beautiful views of Bantry Bay and it is especially easy to enjoy the sunsets over the bay. The bus stop is a 4 minute walk and the Whiddy Island ferry is only a 10 minute walk. There are also many restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk of the property although the road outside is very quiet.

Brilliant location, the cottage is situated within 5 minutes walking time of Bantry Town Centre. Also close to two excellent coffee shops - ‘West’ and ‘The Stuffed Olive’. This lovely cottage is really cosy and very relaxing. There is a gorgeous comfortable living room where you can relax in the evening. Also there are two good size double bedrooms. Finally if you want to find out more about the famine in Ireland the Skibbereen Heritage Centre is worth a visit. They also have an excellent member of staff Margaret who can look into your Irish Ancestry and it is worth booking an appointment with her.

The house was spotless, had veverything you needed in, high quality products, great location and so homey. Fiona communicated extremly well, gave us all the info we needed and late check out meant a lot to us...feels like an extra day to spend there. we checked out late in the afternoon and was great I highly recommend the place and Fiona!

Fiona was so kind and welcoming. We visit Bantry regularly and stay with family but now that we have a little one we needed our own space Fiona provided a travel cot and highchair checked in regularly to make sure all was well and how our little girl was settling in with being a new in a new environment. The house was wonderfully located and walking distance to everything in Bantry. I really can’t wait to get back down and hopefully stay in Mays again.

We had a most pleasant visit to Bantry and by staying in Seaside Cottage it made our stay memorable. It is a lovely cosy but functional house. We had all we needed but we also knew that we could call on Fiona or Caroline if we needed anything or advice on any subject. As well as being a warm comfortable house it is also very convenient to the town; just a few minutes walk. The scenery around Bantry is exceptional. Thank you
