Inclusions that promise comfort include everything from the premium coffee machine (coffee beans provided), the heated plunge pool that heats to 36 degree spa temperatures, filtered water, a soda stream and ice maker to a clothes steamer. And that’s not all! This home has undergone a beautiful renovation with clean lines, lovely new flooring and high end fixtures and fittings. The decor is stylish and comfortable with an emphasis on family usability. Enter and be drawn through to the back, with its high vaulted ceiling and exposed beams. The open-plan living and dining look out to the beautifully landscaped small but perfect garden with heated plunge pool, reminiscent of a private holiday spa. North-east facing, it’s a sunny spot to relax The lounge is expansively comfortable with a smart TV, and books, games, puzzles and toys are happily provided on request. The kitchen is a chef’s delight with all new Miele kitchen appliances (including microwave and dishwasher), and welcome drinks and milks are provided. The dining suite seats 4. The bedrooms are equally well-presented. One Queen and the 4th bedroom (trundle) are downstairs, with premium linens and BIRs. The trundle in the 4th bedroom has the capacity to be made up as either two singles or a King with prior notice. The family bathroom is down here with a shower over the bath. Downstairs there is also a toilet in the laundry that includes new energy efficient appliances, plus ironing board and clothes steamer. Take the carpeted stairs up to the luxurious master bedroom. Comprising a King bed, ample wardrobe space, a smart TV with seating and a full-width balcony with outdoor sofa to enjoy the views, this is a heavenly parent retreat! The oversized ensuite is beautifully appointed with twin shower heads and a large separate bath, toilet and double vanity. The main guest bedroom (Queen) is also upstairs and also connects to the ensuite. Solar power, and ducted air conditioning and heating ensure comfort all year round. Utilise the off-street car space provided. If it suits, there is a station wagon available for your use (this must be pre-arranged prior to booking) which can be parked on the street to allow two-car convenience. The property is pet friendly (each case on approval by the owner) and also included is a weekly/ mid-stay service and clean when you book for a week or longer. *Please note: this property is a temporary listing while the family is travelling overseas - so while professionally cleaned and tidied before your arrival, there will be personal effects in place during your stay.
the property was great and peaceful with everything you can ask for. the toilet and the blankets and beds could be cleaner. but overall it was a good experience and the house was so beautiful and peaceful
Terrific house, easy, relaxing and accomodating, in a small side street near Darling St. Easy access to Rozelle and Balmain shops, cafes and restaurants. Upstairs main bedroom is large and wonderful, with a brilliant balcony and bathroom / ensuite. Great kitchen with everything you could need. Swimming pool is small but handy in hot weather and with kids. Guest Realty’s website and information were exceptional and staff were very accessible and responsive when we needed anything. Recommend.
A beautiful house to stay with friends. The host is very nice. The furnitures and facilities are new and clean. We really enjoy our time. This place is a good choice if you are driving. However, seniors and people with movement impairment might need assistance to access to two bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs.
Situated on a quiet friendly street, yet minutes walk to local hubs, this is a top location. With hotels, restaurants, cafes and pubs spanning the length of Darling Street, you’re spoilt for choice for eateries.
Walk to Balmain and enjoy exploring its heritage and boutique stores, time your visit to take advantage of nearby locations for harbour fireworks, or pop over Iron Cove Bridge to enjoy some retail therapy at Birkenhead Point.
It’s just a few minutes' walk to the bus that takes you to the CBD in just 2 stops. Darling Harbour, The Star Casino and many tourist attractions are all easily accessible.
Should you have a furry friend in tow, enjoy the riverside walks. There’s also a playground if children need entertainment. Head down to Balmain ferry stop and take the ferry to Circular Quay. There’s so much to explore!
This is a terrific spot to make your base and enjoy this locale. And when you get home after a day exploring, the property is certainly a heavenly retreat!
