Most of the other reviews have already included any helpful tips or information that's important to know ahead of time about the physical space (I recommend reading them), so we can only say that Britney's cottage is an amazing place, and we definitely want to stay there again (hopefully during weather that allows us to also enjoy the dock/deck/lake)!! It was SUPER clean, and had all of the needed essentials and amenities, and Britney was very helpful and quick to respond when needed. The cottage is instantly welcoming and has a homey, peaceful, vibe.......like many happy memories have been made there. They have extended the lower deck area since the pics in the listing were taken, so it's even better than expected.......if you can imagine that!! Lakeside is also the perfect location for day trips in the region. The view across Flathead to the Mission Mountains, the sound of the waves lapping at the shore, the Bald Eagle flying by daily........oh my word!! We loved it, and so will you!

What a gem! Britney's place was a wonderful house and location for us to unwind and relax. The views from the deck are just breathtaking, and you can watch sunrise and moonrise over the lake. It's perfectly quiet first thing in the morning, and you can hear the lake lapping over the shore, birds singing, and the wind breezing through the trees. The A-frame inside is delightful, with all the noted amenities. While there isn't a door between the king bedroom upstairs and the queen bed in the loft (since it's an A-frame it's a triangle opening between), the beds are placed far enough apart that there's definitely privacy. One tip: be careful coming down the stairs at night. The final step can look like the floor in the dark. We both tripped once (no big deal) and then were more cautious. There's a small market just about a mile away, and more in Kalispell (about 20 minutes). We also recommend Tamarack Brewing--sit outside by the creek! Overall--awesome stay!

Britney is a first-class host and went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. She is incredibly gracious and very fast to respond. We would definitely book her place again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay in at the end of our trip. The home was comfortable, with everything we needed. The best part were the views from the decks and the amenities available to use by/in the lake. At the end of of our vacation all our children wanted to do was play in a lake and Britney’s place answered their wishes!

I’m hesitant to give too good of a review because I want this place available to book whenever I want! But, I must be truthful and say this is a great place to stay. Location is fantastic. Private but also close to Lakeside for supplies and restaurants. Lost count of how many deer we saw each day. The cabin is cute as can be! Very well decorated and comfortable beds and furniture. Britney is very kind and responsive to any questions I had. As it is an A-Frame, there are some tight areas where you need to watch your head. The dock is amazing and my kids loved having a slide into the lake. We will be back next summer!
