We had a lovely stay at Sakin Lodge. It was well equipped and even had toys for my 3 year old (bonus). The lodge was spotlessly clean and the welcome gifts were a lovely touch. We would happily stay again in the future.
5star+ What a fantastic lodge with beautiful lakeside position. The interior is fantastic, kitchen well equipped, recliner sofas in the living room & conservatory add to the home from home comfort. Beds so comfortable and the area around the lodge is so tranquil & quiet. There is so much on offer, There is a restaurant, with tasty food, bar & children’s play room, free entry into the swimming pool with sauna, wet room and jacuzzi, you need to book a time at pool side. Crazy golf. Water sport activities available with a great cafe & decking area.
Relaxing and tranquil. Superb location of the cabin right on the lake. The on site restaurant needs updating. The pub doesn’t really feel like a pub. The entertainment room was poor. I would rate the property 10/10. Lovely welcome basket on arrival too. Would book again.
The lodge was just beautiful, literally on the water, the photos don't do it justice. Plenty of space including 2 bathrooms and separate conservatory to sit in overlooking the water, with reclining sofa. Hosts Margaret and John thought of everything, they left folders with information on the lodge and resort/things to do in the area. They also left a little welcome pack of goodies which was a lovely touch and their contact details if we needed them. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook/eat in; and they had lots of books, games and 2 TVs with Netflix & Sky movies to keep you entertained. The lodge came with free use of the pool and small gym, which we used. We used the restaurant and the games area which were very nice and handy being practically on our doorstep. Its a great central point for travelling to Lancaster, Kendal & Morecombe, all around 15-20mins away. We would certainly stay there again.
We had a very restful weekend at Sakin Lodge. The host was extremely helpful, supporting us when we got lost on arrival! The lodge is even better than the photographs, such a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed walking around the lake, swimming in the indoor pools and spending time just relaxing, admiring the scenery and wildlife.
