We visited in late March/early April, so the area around Dimitri's place was pretty quiet. However, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from, easy access to supermarkets for your needs, and a five mine walk to get a cheap bus into Heraklion. The apartment is very spacious, with a great kitchen and a HUGE balcony. Overall, and amazing place to stay and would love to still be there!

Wir haben einen zauberhaften Urlaub zu dritt genossen. Die Nähe zum Meer war besonders! toll!! Anfangs waren wir unsicher ob sich der Preis lohnen würde, aber wir hatten einen Grundstock zusätzlich zu der Ausstattung und konnten so entspannt starten, ohne gleich alles in einem Großeinkauf besorgen zu müssen. (an dieser Stelle nochmal ein fettes Danke!) Zwei Supermärkte, Reinigung, kleine Lädchen wie Metzger und der beste Bäcker schlechthin und viele Restaurants sind fußläufig in Minuten erreichbar, auch bei autokreta konnten wir zu Fuß ein Auto mieten und wieder abgeben. Vom Flughafen zum Loft sind es nur ca 15 Minuten mit dem Taxi (30-35€), somit ist alles bestens angebunden. Im Ort selbst ist es ruhig, es ist keine Stadt - eher ein sehr freundliches Dorf und das war genau das richtige für uns trotzdem ist alles gut erreichbar, Bushaltestelle gleich um die Ecke, also auch schnell nach Heraklion oder Malia zu reisen Das Loft selbst ist ein Traum und Dimitri jederzeit behilflich ❤️

All I can say is WOW, what a fantastic loft! We had an amazing time staying at Dimitri's loft. The place was very clean, modern and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, every room has AC if it gets hot (also every window has a mosquito net which is really nice) and the terrace is just stunning. I think we spent half of the time at the terrace because it was just so good. Another great thing about the loft is its location: you just walk for 1 minute and you have literally everything you need. Great taverns/restaurants, a supermarket that's open everyday, pharmacies, souvenir shops, a bus stop (#4), the beach, you name it. I especially think that the beach there is a hidden gem, because there's a short man-made wall of rocks there that protects a small area from waves on days that are very windy. That's especially nice for people that can't swim (well), and I haven't seen a wall like that at other beaches. Thanks again Dimitri and we hope to come again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Dimitri‘s place! The apartment is furnished elegantly and the kitchen is well equipped for dinner night spent on the spacious patio with the stunning view. Contact with Dimitri was really easy and friendly and he was always there if we had any questions 😊
