We had a wonderful week with our family at Jason’s place in Forestport. the check in and info before was great— and the house is beautiful and well maintained and they have pretty much thought of everything for convenience in your stay there. the kitchen is well stocked — all of the things for children from dishes to games, books and toys were there. We had hours of fun on the perfect little beach with all the water equipment. the ducks and loons visited daily and the separate areas to relax and watch the water from the house deck to the beach, boat deck and campfire area— amazing views and breathtaking scenery. Thank you for sharing this perfect spot. it was also fun going into Old Forge but honestly we all preferred staying right there !

Our stay was absolutely one of the best family vacations we have ever had. We did not need or want for anything. The house was so spacious with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a tremendous kitchen and dining room and living room. The table in the dining room was huge! The game room was well stocked with games and a foosball table. There were 2 huge TVs which we never used because we just enjoyed the outdoors, the lake and games so we never really had the need to sit in front of the TVs. There were plenty of kitchen accessories, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, glasses etc. The outside amenities were awesome. The 2 kayaks, canoe, stand up paddleboard, pedal boat and large floating dock were by the nice sandy beach area making the lake easily accessible. The kids, aged 8 and 13, made really good use of the kayak and stand up paddleboard, as well as swimming. The firepit was so relaxing with plenty of chairs. The boathouse deck had the most beautiful view of the lake. Relaxing on the back porch with our morning coffee was great! We used the outdoor griddle a couple of times for hibachi night and a delicious eggs, bacon and home fries breakfast. The grill was perfect for some burgers and hot dogs as well as some london broil. This was such a wonderful family vacation that we will always remember. We have many memories that were made during our stay. Thank you Jason for being a wonderful host!
