Felt a bit deceived to be honest. Based on the photos, it looked like a very large and clean house, it is well maintained but surfaces are quite dusty (a guest’s allergies kept acting up), couches were noticeably stained and used. The backyard and the canoes/kayaks were quite unkept. Couldn’t find the first aid kit, or hand soaps and coffee pods that were mentioned in the listing. The location and the lake view are amazing, customer service is not bad (once we mentioned the missing items, someone came to drop it off) but for the price point I can’t say I recommend it. Airbnbs in Huntsville were much cleaner, nicer, and affordable even though it’s farther away.

The property is close to Algonquin park, but in a crowded neighbourhood on the river. The house is clean. It seems recently renovated, but with with economy in mind - it wasn’t done by someone who will live in the house. There are plenty of beds, which may appeal to large and multi-family groups. The beds are generally boxsprings on the floor, and have the hardest mattresses ever. We thought at first they were plywood with a blanket overtop, but they are ‘diamond firm’ mattresses. This may appeal to some, but I suspect not many. It’s like being on the floor. The kitchen is not well appointed. One fry pan, one pot, one wok. There is salt and pepper - in little paper envelopes. Bare bones cutlery and cooking utensils. As an Airbnb renter I understand where the owners are coming from, but I think they would be wise to invest a little more in this space. I suggest you bring cooking utensils, TP, paper towel, all condiments, cleaning supplies and a foamy to make sleeping more comfortable.

Good place, responsive host but had to buy few stuff like lighter and firewood etc for bbq ne campfire Other than that everything was good.

Great place on the lake. Clean and 4 good rooms. Great for a family getaway with lake activities.
