This is a charming and comfortable cabin with an outhouse. The hosts were very kind and accomodating. It worked well for the private, quiet getaway that I needed.
Was a great little getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. Wilson was very attentive and polite. Would stay again.
Wilson was so very flexible with the check in time ❤ I let Wilson know what time I would arrive, and when I arrived , I was greeted with a beautiful warm toasty fire in the wood burning stove. The cabin was so sweet and cozy. Absolutely enjoyed every second spent inside the cabin.
Everything I expected- private, clean, rustic and comfortable. The added bonus of onsite, come to you, massage was incredible. Outhouse is of course an outhouse...but it is close to cabin and tolerable. I will be back and will tell others!!
My partner and I LOVED our stay! The photos don’t do it justice. We were charmed by the interior of the cabin, it’s features and the overall property. As we drove in on the road, we were greeted by some horses and cows down the road and, as we parked, got a warm welcome from the animals on the property and the host. They were eager to show us their goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks and puppies as well as their greenhouse and plants. There was a trail to walk on just up the road and the air was just SO fresh and clean. I will note that it wasn’t super clear that there wasn’t running water inside of the cabin, but they were generous and let us use the basement bathroom in their home not too far away. They also had a mini fridge with water bottles and can for a small additional cost. I assumed there wasn’t running water due to the outhouse we were to use, but it was so nice of them to let us use so many additional things. They didn’t hesitate to make our stay more comfortable and we simply loved being there. The star gazing was brilliant, the south facing windows brought in the sunrise so gently and splendidly that we awoke refreshed and rejuvenated. We stayed at this AirBnB to not have to drive home so late after the Long Drive In Movie theater and it was just all around perfect. Highly recommend!!

Wilson Fonseca I graduated with a bachelor's degree in physical education from FAESA in Vitoria, Brazil. With an interest in dance and movement, my thesis centered on emotions that can be held within the body, causing mental stress and physical disease, and how to release these emotions for optimal health. During my undergraduate degree, I had great interest in anatomy, physiology, and the healing power of massage. I later attended the Massage Institute in Florianopolis, Brazil, where I received a massage therapy certificate. I have been practicing massage for over twenty years. My experiences range from private practice to providing massage therapy services for world renowned dance companies . I genuinely care about each individual and believe that my hands have the power to heal. In my spare time, I enjoy installing wood floors or other carpentry work, raising goats and chickens, and spending time with my wife and two children.
