This unit is in a wonderful location near the scenic Bitterroot Mountains. It has good proximity to bicycling and hiking opportunities. During our one month stay, the nice folks who live on the property provided local information, fresh ripened fruit harvested on the property, and a friendly atmosphere with privacy. The unit does not have air conditioning but stayed pleasantly cool during a hot spell one week of high 90’s. Our main activities were hiking and cycling, so having a washer/dryer and shower were important to us. We brought a small TV to stream news, etc.; the old TV-DVD furnished does not accommodate streaming or over-the-air broadcasting. Overall, the rental unit is a rustic, yet comfortable place to stay in a tranquil environment. It is not a place for being loud or partying. The mystique of the labyrinth is a major theme of the property and should be respected.

Great stay! This was our second stay at the Garage Mahal. The area is simply beautiful! And so peaceful and relaxing! Jill was the perfect host! She was happy to help with any questions we had about the area. She has local recommendations of places to eat. We were in the area for a job and this Airbnb was easy to get to and had everything we needed (the washer and dryer was nice to use on both visits).

We enjoyed the peaceful location. We walked the labyrinth and sat in the swing-so relaxing! We saw wildlife almost daily. Garage Mahal was warm on cold nights and cool on warm days. Jill anticipated things that we may need while we were here and those items were available to us (laundry soap, hand soap, dish soap, paper products, shampoo and conditioner, band-aids, scissors, ice in the freezer, etc.) Jill respected our privacy but was always quick to respond to any questions. Living space is clean! Jill even left us some delicious cookies the afternoon that we checked in and some fresh flowers on the table. We would stay again!
