Wake to a peaceful country setting only 3 minutes from the interstate. Relax on your private porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sun come up over the pond before venturing out to the Ark Encounter, Newport Aquarium, Creation Museum, Cincinnati sporting events, or hanging around to fish, feed the fish or watch the squirrels play. 15 minutes from the Ark and about 25 to the Creation Museum. You will have two bedrooms with queen beds, walk in closets with hangers and luggage stands. The large living room has a fireplace and TV. There is one full bath that has complimentary body wash, shampoo, and conditioner and a few convenience items throughout, including a hair dryer. The dining/play area has toys for the little ones and a table for meals or games that you might want to challenge. The small brown couch will make a bed if there is a need for separated sleeping for young ones. The tiled space has a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, snacks, assorted coffees, and teas with all the fixin's. I live on site and appreciate respectful noise levels as you will get that same respect from me.

Amazing! Seriously, I could live in that space and be perfectly happy! The host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The space was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable (even the living room couch) and the kitchen was just as described. The patio was very welcoming and the semi-private lake and dock were my favorite. He provided all the amenities we’d need and more. It was in a great location for us to be able to visit the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter but also be in a quiet and peaceful place away from everything. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Chalmer’s place is the perfect landing spot if you are going to visit the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Located between the two attractions, the peaceful surroundings are a welcome respite at the end of the day. The space itself is beautiful. The beds and living room furniture are comfortable, the area spacious, and the dining and kitchen areas are nice. The books and games would be very helpful for those with young families. Great bathroom and good water pressure :) The beautiful backyard and landscaping complete the great stay. Chalmer himself was extremely friendly, going above and beyond to help us out. We can’t recommend this place enough. If we’re ever back in the area, I would book it again in a heartbeat.

Small developed country road with great neighbors. Houses are not too close together. Road is usually busy with traffic, people walking, biking, running, and the occasional horseman or tractor. Rural, but 2 minutes to immediate needs like fuel, food, convenience stores, banks, Urgent care, and grocery. Located 15 minutes from the ark, about 22-30 minutes (traffic) from the Creation Museum, and 30 minutes from Riverbend Concert Center.
Unless going for a leisure walk, you will need your car. I have a lot of concrete for you to park on AND some gravel if needed. The area is relatively rural. Getting around and parking is never a problem.
