An amazing place in an incredible location, not even a block from the cathedral. Great food options a short walk away. We took the “Tren Maya” train and found a local shuttle that left us near the “ocean gate” of the walled city’s and simple walked from there. Gabriela’s place has a historical feel and she is incredible responsive and provided amazing recommendations for food. Don’t hesitate in booking this place.

Gabriela's house is in an absolute perfect location for exploring all that Campeche has to offer. You will be less than one block from the main square and cathedral and just a couple blocks from the Sea Gate to/from the walled city and malecon. Our only disappointment was the second bathroom which is accessed from the courtyard. We were two couples and preferred not to share the "jack and jill" bathroom between the two bedrooms. The second bathroom was a bit primitive, though everything worked well - the shower, toilet sink. Otherwise, we could not have been happier with our stay. Both bedrooms have excellent air conditioning - especially welcome after a day in the heat. Gabriela left us some snacks and a small bottle of tequila as a welcome gift - a nice touch. Overall, we would stay again - perhaps better as a couple, or, if you don't mind going into the courtyard to access your bathroom - two couples. Gabriela was extremely prompt in answering any questions.
