Traveling with two small children it can be hard to find an Airbnb that has everything you need. This home was the most well stocked stay for a family with littles! The location was perfect, the home was super clean. We will absolutely be coming back!

The house was perfect for a family vacation! 6 adults and 4 kids had plenty of room. The lake is perfect for little ones - shallow and sandy. Janine was so friendly and accommodating— would absolutely stay again!

Spent a wonderful week at this cottage on Bear Lake (Kalkaska). Could not be happier with the experience. First, the location. No matter how nice everything else was, the lake is the star of the show. It is beautiful, clean, and the sand beach at the cottage slopes gradually into the lake in a way that invites splashing children or paddling adults. It is lively on the weekends and much quieter during the week. For outdoor activities, kayaks, paddleboards, and a paddle boat are all provided! The cottage itself has been lovingly updated. It has a warm "lake house" feel and space for everyone to feel comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with many thoughtful touches. Sleeping is no problem, with comfortable beds and a quiet home. The caretaker, Janine, checked in to make sure we were all quite comfortable, shared local knowledge, and even loaned some special books to my grandkids who love learning about nature. She was wonderful. Cannot wait to return!

After searching through thousands of air b n bs, I was so happy when I finally found this one! The host was not only responsive, but also accommodating in every way. She gave recommendations, offered assistance when needed and was 100% committed to ensuring our stay was perfect. If your a mom, stop thinking about it and just book it! We had a family of 6 with 4 kids ages 2-13. There was something for everyone and everything we could have needed! Seriously, we could have just brought clothes and been set!! The whole place was as clean as it could be and I can't describe to you how perfect the decor, furniture, little things added around every corner were. I realized at the end of our vacation that I had never felt the level of peace and happiness I was able to find here. I actually told the host that I must have been doing vacations completely wrong this whole time, because it couldn't possibly get any better than the week we had!! Stop looking, just book it!

This home had everything and anything we could need. The host was attentive and proactive with any and all of our needs. Location was amazing, this lake was even more beautiful in person and we were content staying there all week than travel to surrounding lakes! The host had so many water toys (paddle boat, kayaks, paddle board) and dock for fishing we kept so busy! Young and old. Couldn’t have asked for a better week. All of our family had a comfortable space to sleep and lounge!
