I can’t tell how much I loved our time in Gonzalo’s house. The house is simply spectacular. From the architectonical concept - inside / outside spaces, formed by fragments of raw concrete connected by inviting bodies of water - over the natural ventilation creating a soothing climate in the scorching heat of the city, to the tasteful furniture and all the lovely little details and artefacts. I normally don’t cry but I had to shed a tear or two when we had to leave. I wish we can come back one day and stay much longer. Thank you so much for everything Gonzalo and Ronny.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gonzalo’s. He has not only been a wonderful and super accommodating host (including Ronny, the caretaker of the house) but also owns the most amazing house ever. Every detail is so well designed and thought-through, connecting outdoor and indoor space in a very delicate way offering the perfect retreat to spend time cooking, relaxing, reading, listening to music and simply doing nothing! Our time here has been truly a highlight of a lifetime and we are so thankful we got to spend time here. The bedrooms and bathrooms are as well designed as the main living areas. We travelled as two couples and found both spaces very private and tranquil. The outdoor showers were just wonderful as was the big bath tub in one of the bedrooms. A big highlight was also the well equipped kitchen which allowed us to prepare any kind of dishes we wanted and the big fridge which allowed us to stock up for several days. All in all an oasis, that we did not want to leave!

We had an excellent time and we would love to come back here again. Gonzalo was an amazing host, gave out clear and complete directions. He was checking in with us before we arrived, during our stay and before we checked out. His assistant Ronny, was great and friendly and made our check in/out very easy. I fell in love with this place the moment it popped up on my search results while looking for a place in Merida. The pictures left such a great impression on me it was always on my mind until I finally booked it. It's exactly what I thought it would be IRL. The architecture and design blew me away. Thank you Gonzalo! Thank you Ronny!

Amazing place to reset and recharge and just hang out! The property is sizable and stunning; there's a lot of care that went into the design. Walkable (or short drive) from the city center and far enough away if you're looking for an escape. Gonzalo and his property manager, Ronny, were proactive in reaching out and very responsive at all times. Wonderful!

Don’t think about it, just book! Especially if lucky enough to have availability on your dates. The host and team go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. We were fortunate to have spent three days in this beautiful home. The thoughtful and curated architecture and design is a place for stillness and feeling at one, with oneself, and with nature, thanks to the continum of outdoors spaces. It requires effort to create flow and energy that is so effortless. Did not feel like leaving!
