Zelai's place was as described, the bed was very comfortable and shower pressure was very good, lounge and kitchen well designed and facilitated with all that you need. The place is very clean and well maintained, she takes pride in being a host. Aside from her apartment I found Zelai to be a very warm and kind person, she recommended some great places to eat and see.

We had a fantastic time at Zelal’s apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable, the street is quiet but there are lots of shops, restaurants and bus stations near by. The buses take you to every corner of Istanbul you wanna see, but you can also just walk to the central Taksim Square in like 15 minutes. What we also really liked, since we traveled with our one and a half year old son: there is a bed, a bathtub and a chair for babys/toddlers in the apartment. Zelal was always very friendly, although she had to wait for us quite long on our day of arrival. And she always responded very quickly. It really felt like home staying here!

Zelal’s place was very cozy and super clean which I loved (bed sheets were spotless & smelled really nice), the house is a 3 minute walk from bus station and about 7 mns from the metro (with supermarket right under). Took me about 30 minutes to get to most attractions which was fine. Place looks just like the pictures and the check-in process was smooth, it’s on the first floor but the elevator doesn’t work, so it was okay to carry the bags upstairs. Even though it’s not on a main street it does get a bit noisy in the living room due to the windows not being fully sound proof, at night it’s alright though and in the bedrooms it’s quiet. Only faced an issue with a broken door knob that led us to be trapped inside a room but Zelal was quick to answer and offered help so it got sorted shortly after and she did say she’ll get it fixed for the next renter. Overall Zelal was very quick to respond and very helpful, I’d definitely love to stay at her house again.
