This is a great value for the money and extremely close to the lake. Place was as advertised and the host communicated very well. As they have mentioned, the two bedrooms on the third floor require going up some very steep steps to get there, would not recommend if you have older folks in your group. They even provided free firewood, which was a great touch. The place is very clean and welcoming.

We were looking to be within 15 minutes of Morehead state University and this was a great location for us. the cabin was beautiful and the set up was perfect for our family. 2 rooms upstairs were perfect for the older ones (must be able to do stairs) and 2 rooms downstairs with a bathroom between, perfect if you have any little ones and parents. There is a great outdoor setup for all ages. A park and a huge fire pit for socializing and spending quality time with family and friends. There are multiple cabins in the area so it would be fun for a girls or guys glamping trip. We have already booked our next trip.

We really enjoyed our annual family getaway at Cave Run. This house was super convenient and located close to everything we wanted to do (boating, hiking, beach access). We will definitely be visiting again!
