Stefano’s place is all about location. We loved the view of the ocean, garden area and front patio. The owners of the other half of the house were there so it felt less private but they were very nice. You cannot swim in front of the house - you take a short 3 minute walk to get to a beautiful beach great for swimming. We had a couple of bad experiences driving to Galeras - most notably having a chain drawn across the road so we couldn’t pass to try to rob us and we went to Stefano’s recommended supermarket in Samana and a drunk guy tried to add items to our tab. So I do not recommend the super in Samana - better off in Galeras. Stefano also recommended Samana Tourist Services for whale watching and it ended up being a small panga with an angry boat driver who we later found out is not permitted to take people whale watching. I do not recommend their tours. We went whale watching again with Kim Beddall of Whale Samana and it was an amazing experience - highly recommend.

Prachtig verblijf ! Het is een gebouw met gedeelde tuin en terras, maar dat stoorde niet. Alle comfort aanwezig in het gehele huis. Alles heel proper en goed voorzien. Eigenaars waren heel behulpzaam bij vragen rond activiteiten (fietsen huren) of pizza’s bestellen voor avondeten. Op 200m van playita strand. Zalig verblijf!

La maison de Stefano est magnifique, tout est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et l'ensemble donne une sensation de chaleur. Il faut noter que c'est plutôt un appartement au sein d'une maison de 4 logements et la proximité immédiate des voisins peut-être bruyante bien que tout est fait pour que chacun puisse profiter de l'intimité. Le logement est équipé de manière basique mais Stefano a été très réactif lorsque nous avons demandé un grille pain fonctionnel et plus de verre pour boire de l'eau (4 verres seulement alors que nous étions 7). Il n'y avait pas de pastilles pour le lave-vaisselle et là aussi nous avons demandé et cela a été apporté assez rapidement. Dans une des salle de bain l'eau était à peine tiède mais le cadre est superbe et le jardin fait rêver. La Playita est à 150 mètres à pied et c'est super. Donc un très beau séjour dans un cadre incroyable au sein d'une maison au confort et équipements assez basiques et avec des voisins proches pouvant être bruyants.
