Lynn and Ed have been the nicest hosts welcoming us in their family home and spendig time with us sharing insights and recommendations and chatting about life in Long Island. Their house is located in a nice and friendly neighborhood in the town Shirley, close to the beach. We stayed in clean, well-equipped guest bedroom, but they also offered us to use their very nice garden, bbq place and common areas. A really good place for relaxing. They also prepared us a lovely breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much, happy to visit them again in the future!
Lynn and Ed went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I were comfortable during our stay. The room and house overall are extremely welcoming and tidy. It’s stocked with everything you need - bath towels, toiletries, beach towels and accessories, snacks, etc. You have access to the living room, dining room, and backyard. Ed and Lynn themselves are LI natives and are abundant with food and beach recommendations. They even offered us to use their personal kayaks, as well as shared some of their Fourth of July dinner. They really made us feel like family! Overall, we highly recommend staying with Lynn and Ed. They’re amazing people and amazing hosts.
This Airbnb has everything. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The room is beautiful and clean and has any extra you could need (water, snacks, toiletries, extra towels). Would stay again!
Lynn place is a quiet, very clean, spacious and calming place. The whole place made me feel at ease. Lynn and husband were very nice, easy to talk and very friendly when they welcomed me.I would definitely come again!
Lynn and Ed were amazing hosts! They were very helpful with navigating various areas I had to get to during my weekend stay. They provided a delicious breakfast as well as offering snacks and drinks as needed. I was pleasantly surprised by the tips and knowledge of the area that was provided- including grocery and drug stores, nail/massage locations as well as a brief history of the area! I was able to get my nails done as well as pick up necessities during my stay based on Lynn’s excellent recommendations. Will definitely be staying again!

I am a wife and mother of two wonderful children. I have been a Long Island resident most of my life, having moved here from Brooklyn, NY as a young girl. I love my Long Island home and count myself lucky to have created a life here. I spent my young adult life in the food service and catering industry where I developed a passion for preparing meals that create comfort, conversation and ease. My dream had always been to own a Bed and Breakfast where I could create comfortable spaces and large family breakfasts. My life took a different direction however, having spent the last 20 plus years in public service. Now as I near retirement from public service, I am thrilled at the opportunity AirBnB has given me to entertain guests and create comfort.
