Thank you for a wonderful stay. We got to experience a true Japanese home. Would come again, but perhaps earlier as all the restaurants in the neighborhood were closed by 8pm. Otherwise it’s beautifully located and spectacular view. Thank you.

This is a fabulous spot, away from everything, perched high up on the hill, close by to a Buddhist temple where the monk is very friendly. We loved the quiet, the great view and also the sauna. It seemed very Japanese in its layout. Kitchen was small but well stocked. Satako san was extremely helpful and responded quickly. The consideration I would have is the climb up to the Inn which was steep and then even in the Inn, steep stairs. We didn't have a problem with it but it might be a challenge if you were elderly with lots of luggage or had access issues.

magnificent spot. The climb up is hard with heavy bags but well worth it. we loved our stay. visited mt Yoshino, koyasan, miterai valley. all spectacular. The only surprise was the two separate buildings, one with the beds, the other with the kitchen and tatami room. worked really well for us. Would love to stay again

Very clean, large Japanese style home. View on the river. Owner very helpful and responsive. Location of bathroom/toilets are at first floor while bedroom on second, and stairs are steep.
