If you're hesitating to book, don't! Despite very last minute booking on our end, we could not have asked for a better trip. The home, our room, and the view were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, our accommodations were comfortable, and the lake-access was unmatched. Denise & Don's fur-babies were as friendly and well-mannered as they were and we could not have asked for better hosts.

Denise is an awesome host! She made us feel welcome when she invited us in and gave us a tour of the house. She lives right across from a gorgeous lake and lovely view of the lake from the bedroom we stayed in. All of her dogs were very friendly. She made breakfast for us which was very generous. I would love to come back again! I highly recommend for people who love dogs and cats and a lovely view of the lake!

Booked based on location, price & rating. Just needed a place to sleep while sightseeing and hadn’t read amenities. So many wonderful surprises! Beautiful property-pictures don’t do it justice. Denise and home had a very warm feeling. After a long day of sightseeing, got to relax on a lounge chair in the sun on their beach. Got a whole vacation experience in a very short time!

Don and Denise were the friendliest couple and had a really fun and beautiful home right across from the lake. I bet their warmer months are just the best. Everything was really decorated and artsy, high quality linens, and a lodge feel with the gas fire heat. I was constantly in touch with them on text and had no problem if I had a question getting a reply and assistance. They graciously shared their food with me, and let me use their washer/dryer. They have two cats that are very bold and curious. I only met one of the dogs, but he was perfectly chill and didn't really pay attention to me or my dog. I think it'd be worth a return to use the lake access.
