This home is stunning and very spacious. No one will feel on top of another as the bedrooms are well appointed and spaced out. The pool and landscape layout make for good sun with partial shade always on one end until about 2–when everyone feels sunburned and wants a break anyways. Our stay had a handful of hiccups not due to owner neglect, and the property manager was the most responsive and helpful I’ve had of any Airbnb stay (or Vrbo for that matter). She rectified immediately a situation that cost us unexpectedly, and delivered extra treats on a cleaning day to make up for the inconvenience. One thing to be added to the listing in this area of Tamarindo is that TP goes in trash cans and not down pipes—so hot bathrooms need to be aired out and it takes a bit to get used to. The amenities of private access to Playa Langosta (and restaurants) and the Beach Club access literally make this home better AND cheaper than staying at the nearby Marriott. We recommend highly!

De las peores casas en la que he estado en Hacienda Pinilla.El trato fue pésimo. Sentimos mucha desgana de parte de la anfitriona. Llegamos un martes a la casa y hasta el viernes no llegaron a limpiar la piscina y porque insistimos. La piscina nos la entregaron llena de hojas y esas mismas hojas soltaban con una babilla que tenía la piscina en mal estado. La casa tenía una plaga de hormigas en la cocina.Nunca tuvimos privacidad en la casa.Entre la chica de la limpieza, el jardinero y los de la piscina siempre teníamos gente en casa.En una de esas vino una chica limpiar a la piscina y se pasó un buen rato sentada en una silla observándonos de fuera 😒.Fue desagradable porque a la hora de comer que uno piensa disfrutar de la barbacoa y piscina siempre tenías a alguien alrededor. En resumen, no fue agradable la estancia en esta casa.Intentamos comunicárselo a la anfitriona y poder conocerla en persona pero parece que no era su prioridad.

Outstanding! We were able to have one of our most memorable family gatherings in this beautiful property. Everything was so beautiful and exactly as advertised. The host was incredibly attentive, helpful, and communicated so well. They gave us many ideas as are reservation approached and during our stay. No matter what our questions or needs were, they responded quickly and supportive of anything we wanted or needed. Their cleaning team even did a refreshing clean during our stay and their attention to detail was Four Seasons worthy. What a blessing when traveling internationally and praying where you stay will be what you expected, and they exceeded our expectations. Wish we had more time to stay longer, we would definitely come back. Thank you so much!

There were a few hiccups at the outset of our trip - private chef booked for the wrong day, wrong (and also broken) golf carts delivered, membership to the beach club not paid for - but Bozena was responsive when we were there and did help us rectify everything as quickly as possible. It made for a stressful half of the vacation but after the first few days things went smoothly. The chefs were wonderful, the grocery delivery was great and the house was beautiful. Definitely need a golf cart if you plan on going to the beach or the pool club, it's not within walking distance.

Great house for large groups. Well equipped, clean and had everything needed for a large group. Will be returning for sure.
