We had a lovely stay at the villa. It’s next to the lake and close to the main shopping street. It had everything we needed for a weekend getaway!
My family & l enjoyed a couple of nights stay in this beautiful , clean and spacious home. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed leisurely walks around the lake and shops and restaurants were in close proximity. The home looked as it was advertised and we enjoyed the hamper which was left for us on our arrival. The host was very accomodating with check in time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Daylesford.
This AirBnB is located on the main arterial into town, so we did not find our stay to be relaxing or enjoyable as the constant din of cars and trucks driving by at 60 km per hour, during all hours, can be heard from inside and felt! — the place literally shakes when big trucks drive by. A massive disappointment, as it completely ruined our stay in Daylesford. Given the other reviews and exorbitant price we expected much better. The host was unwilling to shorten our stay, in order to allow us to find a place more suitable, though we had added on an extra day last minute prior to arrival. Few amenities are provided in the kitchen, except for the lowest grade tea, coffee pods and a few basics. Butter, honey, a few healthy breakfast options and overall higher quality items would have been nice given the high price point. The place is also much smaller in person. I struggled to find a suitable place to stretch and do yoga. We do not recommend.
Place was absolutely stunning and so comfortable. If you want to spoil yourself this is the house to do it in, the house was clean and so peaceful and just magnificent. The view was breathtaking and it was so lovely to be able to just walk outside the door and walk around the lake and it’s beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend!
Such a lovely property so clean, neat and organised! Absolutely everything is thought of and provided. Easy check in and wonderful to deal with.
