Franko’s place was a peaceful stay. I would have liked better communication before we got there about check-in instructions and then help with finding the place - being in such a unique and small location it is hard to know exactly where to go, so a distinguishing feature to tell guests to look for would be great. (This may be a cultural difference coming from the States.) Once we got there it was a smooth visit and Franko was warm and welcoming. Be sure to bring any food or drinks you may need as there is nothing around. It is a unique, beautiful setting and an adorable town!

We loved our stay in Hum! So quiet and peaceful. After a long day of travel it was a perfect place to renew our souls. If you can wake up and watch the sunrise from the back patio, it was stunning. Hum is the cutest and most quaint tiny town!

What can I say, what an absolutely fantastic place! The whole process was smooth and Franko was responsive from the get-go with near immediate replies! When we arrived he was a wonderful host, offering us drinks and showing us round the apartment himself so we had everything we required. The apartment itself; well just AMAZING! A beautifully restored building and renovated to a wonderful standard. It was absolutely spotless, had everything and more you could need and we had the most wonderful and relaxing evening. The views from the terrace seating are absolutely to die for! The hosts have thought of everything; we wanted for nothing from the bedroom to the kitchen to the bathroom! The village restaurant food was fantastic and Franko’s daughter has the most beautiful shop in the village too! Overall just wish we had the opportunity to stay longer in this beautiful apartment. Thank you to Frank, the most generous host!

A charming small private cottage facing the northern mountains in the medieval town of Hum. We traveled here in November for 3 days which is an excellent base with plenty of other interesting medieval towns , waterfalls and castle ruins close by. The town has a distillery, a restaurant and a specialty food store from the regions locals including beer, wine meats and cheeses. The quiet peaceful location is magical even more at night with church bells in the distance. The host was so gracious with his offerings of distilled spirits and keeps the cottage warm, cozy and exceptionally clean with additional pillows and blankets. He had all toiletries needed and tea, coffee,candles and Lanterns! Great friendly host and the cottage is amazing,. We recommend to stay longer than one night or you will miss the experience of living in the smallest town in the world. We will remember this forever 🌸
