Nous avons passé trois jours très agréables sur le bateau. C'est vraiment très bien décoré et cozy. les filles ont adoré.

I don't have enough superlatives...it was just amazing, fabulous, loved it !!!And it felt so authentic. Actually staying on a boat in this safe-feeling, tranquil oasis in the heart of a huge city. Autumn colours just appearing on the trees in the gardens nearby and swans at the bathroom window 💖. We stepped off the boat onto the tow path and walked to Camden Market, enjoyed an afternoon there, and got another canal boat back. Popped out for a 5 minute stroll along the canal in the other direction to the ultra modern Sheldon Square to choose a restaurant. Being so close (easy short walk) to Paddington makes this such a well-connected location, especially if you've arrived into Heathrow. Sam was an attentive host. We felt well looked after. Delighted to have met her. (I noticed one review mentioned the cassette toilet, but that comes with its own mini-flush and maintained its freshness throughout our stay, absolutely not a problem.)

Lovely older houseboat, kept clean & tidy. Host’s assistant who checked us in was friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed watching the water fowl around the boat. Description forewarned of cassette toilet & its limitations. Decent size for two, 3 or 4 would be pushing it, especially with the facility’s limitations. Well appointed in terms of kitchen supplies, bath sheets, and bedding. Limited trash disposal options, not only on the boat, but in nearby public spaces. Appreciated the little touches by the host’s assistant, such as fresh flowers & a loaf of bread with condiments. Not too far from Paddington Station, though Apple maps will have you walking a circuitous route. Nice place to stay for fit, agile adventurous travelers.

This accomodation is a must do if you want a unique London experience. If you have any issues, Sam responds to texts immediately. Loved having our own wood fired fire place. Close to some great pubs. Flat path direct from Padding Station which has direct connections to Heathrow. We will recommend to all our friends.
