Beautiful home, the host Patrizia was so kind and helpful to us and even cooked us a meal on our first night when we arrived. The additional “property fees” and additional fees beyond that seemed a little confusing and excessive but the property was sparkling, beautiful, and in a fantastic location.

We rented the property for a week in August. At the last minute, my in-laws who were in Italy decided to join us, which I didn’t think would be an issue as we rented the full villa for a week. The manager charged us an extra 700 EUR for my in-laws, which would not have been an issue if the villa was perfect but considering that the air conditioning in the main bedroom was broken for 3 days and caused a water damage (and workers had to come few times to fix the air conditioning and the damage caused by the water) that the description of the property included several items that were not available upon our arrival (crib for our daughter, hot tub, toys for the kids, etc), that the owner lived in the “basement” of the villa (however, with a separate entrance door), we felt that it was exaggerated. The communication with the manager of this property was not pleasant. That being said, it is a beautiful villa with a beautiful and peaceful backyard. The owner of the property is fantastic and will do everything to make your stay comfortable. The air conditioning in the main bedroom was broken and she right away called someone to fix it. Also, because there was no crib for my daughter, she went to buy a Park n Play for my daughter the next day and some toys.

Sardegna is a beatiful Island and Alghero was a charming city. The beaches were all incredible - thanks for a nice stay.

Great clean house, fully airconditioned with beautiful pool even for small children. The barbecue is fantastic. Patrizia was very friendly and helpful at any time and shared her immense knowledge of Sardinia to make our stay as relaxing and joyful as possible. The property is very quite and secluded. At the same time a great spot to explore the northern and western part of Sardinia Thank you Patrizia and … any time again.

Wonderful stay at Maison du Bonheur, the villa had great views of countryside, not overlooked by neighbours and very peaceful. The gardens are beautiful. Travelling into Alghero very easy by car, only 10 minute drive. The pool and outdoor shower were fantastic to have, very clean too. Lots of covered outdoor seating areas and sun lougers. Great open plan kitchen, dining, living space and plenty of room. Separate utility room was very useful. Weather was beautiful, but nice to have aircon in all the bedrooms and living area. Patrizia our host was absolutely fantastic, superb greeting when we arrived even though quite late, she had even prepared some lovely food for us! She was so helpful and welcoming and also gave us great recommendations for beaches and sightseeing and local restaurants. La Pergola was very good, hand made gluten free pizza was a real treat. Patrizia fixed any minor issues we had immediately and was always available to answer queries. I would definitely recommend staying here and we had an amazing holiday!
