It is as advertised, simple and practical. For the same cost of a hotel room you get a nice place by the lake, a nice view on a peaceful setting. Location is perfect near town, restaurants and shops but feels like you are very far away. The location is also perfect to access Highway 18 and be on your way to the mountains, hikes, lakes, etc. Thank you Michael and Maria for sharing your house.

Charming place, simple and everything you really need for a few nights. Love that you can walk straight to the lake and enjoy the view. Though I was confused about the room not having a door or at least a curtain. If you are a light sleeper, not the best place to stay. Lots of random noises at night. Heater going off and on and foot steps from the upstairs. But other then that charming place to stay!

Above and beyond accommodating - helpful with local recommendations and respectful of privacy while being proactive. Walked to the firepit when he noticed my family was struggling to start a fire while I was getting our toddler down. I will say we were a little anxious about the noise level between the apartment and house because our youngest is autistic and can be loud when stimming or has meltodwns. Also grateful for the location and space to recoup after a little anxiety about traveling with our son and trying to adapt to his and our own special needs. We could not have picked a better spot to catch up with family we had not seen in a very long time. It was perfect for me to calm the nerves and anxiety we were trying to manage but ended up doing better than expected with all the unknowns involved. Thank you so much for your hospitality and patience with us. Definitely recommend your place for anyone traveling thru.
