Pros: the price is unbeatable for the area It's located about 8 minutes from downtown. CONS: In short- too many BUGS, too many RULES, and UNprofessional. I'm not sure how there are so many positive reviews, and I'm curious about other people's living standards because my experience was not positive, and I consider myself a flexible person. To begin with, Katy has a lot of rules. More than those listed on her Airbnb. They include everything from when you should be done cooking and having a shower to turning off the A/C when not home, and more. This leads me to my next point, there is no central A/C in the house, so certain parts will get very hot considering it's South Florida. Next was the bug issue, if you have any type of fear of bugs (including roaches) don't stay here. I saw all types of bugs imaginable which led my stay to be so uncomfortable that Katy somehow also became uncomfortable and kicked me out after I followed every single airbnb posting rule, and written rule she had. I guess when you realize your review will no longer be positive it's best to get rid of the "problem" as early as possible. Unfortunately I came to the conclusion that this is how Katy is and decides to keep her home. if you're ok with all of these things feel free to stay here because it's a great price.

Amazing host. Great location. Very quiet. Completely read the description. This is a beautiful, quiet place in a great location. Katy was attentive but not intrusive and was an amazing host. highly recommend.

Peaceful, pleasant, and simple home on an island. This is a great option if you’re looking to rent an affordable room in St. Pete. You’ll have access to one bedroom, a cute little bathroom, and the kitchen. The description shares everything you’ll need to know, so make sure you read it well. Katy does a great job checking in to make sure her guests are comfortable. She gave helpful local tips and advice about the area and Tampa Bay as a whole. Great location if you have a car as it’s a close enough drive to the bay, beaches, the state park, downtown, and everything else St. Pete has to offer. Parking on site is available. Overall peaceful and creative energy in this home. Thank you for opening up your home to share Katy!

I highly recommend this spot. It's in a great location, in a quiet neighborhood. Kathy is amazing. She tends to your every needs and makes sure you're always comfortable. She's a wonderful host.

Katy's place was spotless and conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. Katy honored my space during my stay there and made sure I had what i needed. Would recommend to any friend or family member!
