We look forward to seeing you! Our spacious four-bedroom flat exudes an authentic Arctic flair and can accommodate up to 6 people in two double and two single rooms. The location in the centre of Longyearbyen makes it the perfect starting point for any kind of activity in the Arctic nature. But you can also easily reach free-time activities such as museums, restaurants and shops on foot from here. Despite the city centre location, you have a breathtaking view of the mountains of Longyearbyen from the flat and can enjoy your time on Svalbard in peace without direct neighbours. The Polar Bear Lodge has two bathrooms and a cosy living room, which invites you to relax after an exciting day, read or talk about what has happened. You are also welcome to help yourself to the Arctic readings that we provide in our reading room. In the compact kitchen you can store food and prepare small meals. Each of the four bedrooms follows its own theme and is named after famous people from our island. For example, you can follow in the footsteps of the Dutch explorer Willem Barents in the bedroom of the same name. For an extra dose of fresh air, there is a balcony with seating or, in summer, a fireplace behind the house.
