Our home would be rented fully furnished, as this is our main home, and we are going on an extended trip. Our house has a king bed in the master bedroom suite, a queen sleeper sofa in one room, and 2 cribs in the other 2 bedrooms. There is room to put inflatable mattresses in the smaller rooms, if the kids are out of the crib stage. 2 1/2 baths, living room, dining room, den with 65 inch flat screen, deck with grill, patio furniture, and dining table. There is a desk in the queen room to use as an office, and there is an additional office in the garage-shared with room for bikes and storage. Our lovely garden and patio is seen from most all angles of the house. French doors open to the patio to give a live in/out feeling. The private deck is perfect for dining or barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. The house itself is is approximately 1840 square feet. It is a 1/2 mile walk to the Mill Valley Plaza and Depot, Sequoia Theatre/Mill Valley Film Festival and Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, Mill Valley Beerworks, coffee houses, many restaurants and popular Mill Valley Market (Grocery, Produce and Meat Departments, Delicatessen, and easy walking distance to 142 Throckmorton Theatre [Live entertainment including dramatic and musical theatre, comedy, jazz, , cabaret, dance and youth performances], Sweetwater Music Hall, the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival and Mill Valley Library. The location is ideally suited for: (1) Vacations; (2) Family or guest holiday visits; (3) Business travel; (4) Extended stays due to re-location or house-hunting; (5) Temporary housing due to home construction, alterations or additions and (6) Close proximity for reception or party preparation at Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club. Mill Valley is a picturesque California town of 14,000 residents and creative hideaway situated on the eastern slope of Mount Tamalpais. Nestled among redwoods, hills and canyons, Mill Valley is only ten minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge and City of San Francisco, yet less than one hour from Sonoma and Napa Wine Country. Historical Mill Valley has a unique village charm as well as its human environment-uniquely combining tranquility and liveliness, privacy and community involvement. Starting in 1905 with The Dipsea Race, the first cross-country race in the country, Mill Valley has a rich cultural tradition with the Mountain Play in 1913, the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival in 1957, the Marin Theatre Company, a professional regional theatre in 1966, the Mill Valley Film Festival in 1978 and the 142 Throckmorton Theatre recently revived, although in existence since 1915.
