It was a wonderful getaway, and although there were some bumps with heating (during these colder temps), the host was super responsive and helped navigate getting the smart thermostat reset. We enjoyed the beautiful property and the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, we all said we would love to come back!

Overall, we’d give our trip an average rating. Pros- 1- The surrounds were beautiful, interesting decor but a little dated 2- Plenty of room to sleep our group of 8 3- Pool and hot tub worked as described but we did not get an opportunity to use Cons 1- The home was not clean. Main bathroom had used towels and leftover used shampoo conditioner packets, second bathroom had dead moths in the tub and spiders everywhere, a clean folded towel had makeup stains on it. The kitchen had dishes left in the dishwasher and old food in the fridge. 2- The wifi did not work 3- The locks to the sliding door the main bedroom to the outside did not work. The lock to the bathroom connected to the outside in the cottage did not work. 4- The heat in one of the bedrooms was unbearably hot in comparison to the other rooms and the main house. Despite contacting Vacasa as soon as we arrived, nothing was done to remedy the situation. For a professionally managed property, this experience was grossly subpar.

The house and property are absolutely lovely! It's such a peaceful spot and you're close to a million things without being too close. The facilities were great and the house was so cozy and comfortable. Everyone slept great and we had so much fun enjoying the various different spaces. We were missing the usual binder of instructions that usually comes with an AirBnB but we were able to figure everything out. We loved it and would definitely come back!

Fantastic home for the family. Outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and pool made the whole stay amazing for summer fun.

The location is amazing! 45 minutes from SF but feels much further away. The property is very private, and was as presented in the photos. When we arrived there were some spiders and cobwebs in the corners, an old half drunken water bottle, etc but all minor things. Wifi worked well. Pool was dirty when we got there but Vacasa sent someone to clean it when we asked. We tried to use the oven and it really smelled of gas so immediately turned it off, contacted Vacasa - they were professional and offered compensation for not being able to use it. Bottom line, the property is gorgeous and location is amazing. Vacasa is professional and responsive. I suspect issues are somewhat inevitable especially at more rural properties like this, and I was really pleased with how they handled everything. Hope to go back!
