This charming house is an absolutely wonderful, welcoming place to stay! Totally picturesque as you drive into the backyard parking spots. A well tended garden and stone path lead you to the back door. Once inside you can tell the pride the owner has taken in this home to welcome their guests. It has an inviting casual but elegant country chic decor! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Lots of basic pantry items as well. The bathroom was stocked with so many towels, there was no worry of running out. The beds and linens were all super cozy! The backyard had a patio table, a garden bench and a fire pit surrounded by muskoka chairs. We didn’t make use of the area as the evenings were fairly chilly, but wish we could have. We highly recommend staying here. Perfect for a few girlfriends, mother-daughter get away or even a little romantic hideaway!

We booked Sophia’s Heritage Getaway from May 2-5, 2024 for a 5 girl getaway. The home was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated! The beds were comfortable and the linens are A+. Nothing was lacking. The kitchen was well equipped with new pots, cutlery, dishes and accessories. The outside was also maintained perfectly! There was lots of seating outside and even a bbq and fire pit. It was walking distance to down town and walking trails. I had a hard time opening an electrical cover on an outside outlet and I messaged Kelly and I had an immediate response and assistance! Kelly is lovely and so accommodating! All of us had an excellent time and we would all recommend this air bnb to anyone! Maybe we will even have the opportunity to go again :) Thank you Kelly!! A+++

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay in Kelly's house. It was simple to find and enter with off-road parking close to the entry door. Very clean and light inside with a pleasant outdoor area. The neighbourhood is quiet and a 10-15 minute stroll to Elora's shops and eateries. We slept well and would happily stay again.

This is a very good place to stay at for a short period of time in a lovely small town. The owner is an excellent person and responds to messages quickly. The interior is also very well kept and all the necessary utilities are provided. We stayed here for a week and the trip left us with a very good impression. If we come to Elora again we would definitely consider staying here one more time.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and the house was absolutely pristine with all the comforts of home. I wouldn't hesitate to rent Sophia House again.
