Nature meets history at this unique property with an extravagant river view and a pool located in the heart of Blagaj near Mostar. "The Old House Paparosa" provides you with everything that you may need for staying here. The interior is split in two parts. The first part contains one king size bed, three sofa beds, one office room and one bathroom, while the second part consist of one room with wonderful views of the pool and the garden. In this room you can relax your mind while playing the piano. The fully equipped kitchen is separate from the house. In the outdoor areas of the house there is a fully equipped barbecue where you can make various meals, a terrace overlooking the pool and the Buna river, and one bathroom.

That was really special and wonderful journey for us. The area was beautiful and haus is old and has a history. Top place for a silent and childeren friendly location.

It was even better then expected. The communication was amazing and the place looked just like imagined. We stayed with six people and had a great time.

Paparosa ist ein wunderschönes Anwesen, wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Es sah in Realität besser aus als auf den Fotos. Es war eine 10/10. Das Haus war Sauber und gepflegt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher haben frisch gerochen. Das Highlight war der Pool dort haben wir die meiste Zeit verbracht. Man ist ungestört und es ist ruhig. 5 min. Zufuss ist Tekija entfernt auf dem weg gibt es einige Souvenir Stände. Das nächste mal wenn wir nach Blagaj kommen, werden wir aufjedenfall wieder ins Paparosa Haus kommen. Sanja hat sich super um uns gekümmert, war jederzeit erreichbar. Da wir 2 Geburtstage gefeiert hatten, haben wir sogar ein Abendessen vom Gastgeber geschenkt bekommen und es war einfach so eine nette Geste. Wir waren sehr Zufrieden und freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch im Paparosa. Nochmal ein Dankeschön von uns allen.

The property was just idyllic. A perfect place to spend time relaxing in such a well restored home with every detail considered and well provided for with modern touches. Immaculately presented with great care. The wonderful host had thoughtful touches every morning leaving freshly cut roses and flowers as well as fresh picked fruit as a surprise gift in the mornings. Perfect location for a rest and situated well for exploring the nearby historic sites within a 5min walk or a 20min drive to Mostar from your private car park. Will most definitely recommend and return on my next visit. Thanks 🙏

Blagaj has a huge impact of Bosnian history. The last Bosnian Queen Katarina Kosača Kotromanić was born there in 1425 .
The old Fortress of her family is now famous tourist attraction. Blagaj fortress is located on a natural level area above steep cliffs.
The urbanization of the settlement of Blagaj as we now know it was defined in the Ottoman period, during the second half of the 15th century, and its structure took shape during the 16th century.
The Velagićevina residential complex is a unique complex of the residential architecture of that time, with a large number of the functional components required for life. It is so sited as to be separated from the outside world, while its exuberant facades seem to disperse as they open to the natural environment and the river Buna.
"The Old house Paparosa Mostar - Blagaj" is situated in the middle of this complex. The old family settlement consists of three separate entities separated from the rest of the world - by a wall and by the river.
