As seen in the accurate pictures it is not newly renovated or especially design forward, but is perfectly lovely, spacious, comfortable and great value for the convenient location and beautiful setting with the open vistas to the mountains from the living room and kitchen. The condo was also extremely clean throughout when we checked in. Based on a prior review which mentioned being more aware of owner's use of the property than a hotel style rental, I thought we might find limited space for our luggage or belongings. While the space's family history is charmingly visible as noted elsewhere, the convenient primary suite walk-in closet was virtually empty with plenty of space for our use. Our check in and check out process was extremely convenient with a responsive property manager available via text starting at check in. We especially appreciated that unlike some rentals in the area, the owners are above board with the gated community making check in with security guards and ongoing access very easy. As we were visiting in the heat of summer, the use of the garage was a big bonus, keeping our car from baking in the sun. When visiting one of the smaller pools that dot the community, we had the luxury of a whole pool to ourselves. Likely that was partially due to the high temperatures, but also I suspect because there are so many pools available. The property is also extremely well located near the border of Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage. Thank you to this team for a lovely stay in the desert.

This condo is positioned in a great location across from The River in Palm Desert, so it's so very convenient! Super close to everything you need - shopping, restaurants, grocery stores etc. The complex is well manicured and maintained, but don't forget your house number as the units look basically identical throughout. All units face the golf course, and are great for night time walks to the clubhouse or pool. Very safe, very comfortable and very quiet. Easy parking with the garage, driveway and street parking too. The extremely long door lock code needed not only to get in, but also to close the door became tedious, but that was a minor challenge over all. The house is a fantastic value for the money at two full bedrooms plus a study which could be a third bedroom if needed. The owner has mattress pads and extra bedding to set it up as well. The images lead us to believe the unit might be more updated than it is. The kitchen, baths & jacuzzi are essentially in their original state, and as a result are quite quirky from a functionality perspective. The oven is difficult to figure out, so much so that written directions are left for it, and the showers blast you with scalding water until you find a balance - so it's touchy. We always enjoy knowing who the owners are and in this case, they were obviously present with pictures, award plaques etc scattered around. If you are a traveler looking for a super clean Airbnb/hotel like experience though, those personal belongings on counters and in drawers may be a distraction. One super fun unexpected touch was an LP player with albums. We spent a night just listening to old music in the living room, a totally unintended event that was fabulous! Overall, this is a very comfortable place at an extremely fair price. We typically rent more design forward properties, but it's hard to argue the value with this one. Thanks to the owners and Vacasa for responding so quickly to our maintenance issue!
