The Town House Inn & Restaurant is located in the historic Drane-Stevens House, an exquisite turn of the century Neoclassical Revival-style home. Built by Dr. W. H. Drane in 1905, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as an example of incredible architecture, elaborate wood work and turn-of-the-century craftsmanship and finishes. Over the years, the home has served many families as well as a physician who had a clinic on the property. In 1991, the property was purchased by the Morgan Family who rehabilitated the home and converted it into a bed and breakfast. Owner, Clay Snider, purchased The Town House Restaurant & Inn along with the Guesthouse in December 2021. Clay, a premier interior designer, who was born and raised in Buena Vista, has admired the architecture and beauty of this home for many years. Although he has lived in Atlanta for over 25 years, the opportunity to get involved in Buena Vista and the dream of owning his own restaurant brought Clay back to his roots. Clay has refreshed the Restaurant with beautiful artwork and amazing cuisine. The Restaurant offers a lunch buffet from 11-2 Thursday through Sunday and the dinner menu from 5-9 Thursday through Saturday. He has also re-decorated the Inn at The Town House and added his personal style to these historically beautiful and spacious rooms. The Main House at the Town House has 3 majestic rooms with queen beds and vintage, claw-foot tubs in the en-suite bathrooms. The Guesthouse, a quaint, farmhouse themed cottage, has 4 rooms each with an en-suite bathroom as well as access to a full kitchen and a common living room. The two homes will accommodate up to 18 individuals.
