VacasaCA provide ONLY online support. I asked about the fireplace upon booking & received general trip info along with separate link to Vacasa website that require their own confirmation # which doesn't work. We couldn't connect wifi, Vacasa has no clue about the actual internet setup and provided us dummy solutions. The most helpful thing they did was notified the owner who live right behind the property. The owner was very nice and helpful, knows everything about the property. Everything went smooth from that point on. Here are some tips, #1 the internet is thru a single modem shared with multi-home, signal booster is right by kitchen sink. Once connected at the sink, signal is stable. #2 the gas heater turns off occasionally, you can restart with the tiny button in between 2 crimped wire terminal on the back of the heater. #3 No firewood available & owner prefers fireplace not being used (we respect that). The radiator heater was a lifesaver. #4 coffee machine but no coffee.

Overall a great stay! Pretty close to south side of the redwoods which was awesome. Not much in terms of food/groceries. There is a little store but it’s very basic, so just know that coming in. The backyard is so cute! It was foggy the whole time except the last night we were there and it was soooo nice to have dinner out on the picnic table. We were so glad it cleared up! The only downfall is that the main beds mattress felt like a U and was pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, great stay!

Unique, and very roomy converted chapel. Bright and clean. Great kitchen. Great location for access to hiking in Redwoods National and State Parks.

Beautiful refurbished old Catholic church. We loved it! Lovely gardens and stunning views. Easy access to the Redwood National and State Parks. We would stay again.

This place was perfect for a few days in the Redwoods. Minutes from beautiful beaches and mountainous forests and even walkable to a gas station/convenient store and cool redwood gift shop. Had all the amenities you'd expect from a Super Host - plenty of clean, new towels and linens, cooking utensils, propane grill, updated bathroom facilities, new appliances, nice big TV, soap, detergent, and a few cooking condiments provided. The only possible drawbacks were being right on Rte 101 and it could get hot in the house with no AC and very few screens to open the windows without letting in a lot of bugs. we didn't have high temps so it wasn't an issue though.
