This rental is not safe as far as intruders or leaving anything valuable in Unit. Some of windows don’t lock and w no AC or heat if you want to cool off, you have to open windows. Various missized pieces of wood vs dowels in window sill, so easy to take off the screen and lift window out. This means super stuffy at night, and during day have to bring computer, jewelry, all valuables w/you. Lots of dirt and mold-looking stuff inside windowsills, screens filfthy, and mold or ? on the shower curtain. The grill was disgusting. It had beds made nicely and large /not too cluttered. I hope I can add some pictures to show you some of the issues. Had a drunk man trying to break in at 11:30pm requiring cops. I didnt sleep a wink that night- ruined next day. I offered to make dowels to secure windows, but vacasa refused to issue /comp me any $ or an additional night.

Excessive mold, the host wanted to clean it but it is in the dry wall, I have pictures I would love to show you, Wires from SOS pad on bathroom floor and in towels scratched us, Extream noise from people on second floor all night, Street lights come into the bedrooms and the window coverings are not adiquate. The fence in the back is falling down and dogs can get out. Stains in bath tub, very poorly maintained property. Mold in - - Window sills - so bad paint is peeling and its in the dry wall - Mold on ceiling where there was a leak from the second floor and its yellow and pealing - Mold under sick and someone put a rubber pad over it in an attempt to hide it

We arrived 30 minutes early. The electronic door lock can take a bit to wake up. The place was not cleaned. The previous renter left some disgusting items. We called the emergency line. The operator said he would do what he could but no guarantees. A clean lady arrived within 20 minutes. She asked for 1 hour to clean. The manager gave us a cleaning refund of $100 to make up for the inconvenience. Once cleaned the place was fine. Until we went to sleep. The roof serves as a terrace for another unit. They had a dog that ran back and forth all night (zoomies). We thought the roof was going to cave in. Also even with windows open, there was very little air circulation. We found a small fan the helped a lot. The location is walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. It is two blocks from sand and water. Parking in the back or on the street. No ocean view. Overall, if you are with your family and need second room with twin beds, this works fine. But not my 1st choice.

We really enjoyed staying here. It was roomy. Loved the kitchen and the back patio. Dog friendly. Great location! Will book again.
