The place is small but cozy. I loved how the kitchen and sink space is placed - you can move freely. It could be helpful if there are cleaning tools (e.g. broom) especially for people staying longer. Overall, the experience is great, the host is responsive. Thank you 😊

The location serves my purpose for visiting Davao City, but upon arrival, there was a slight odor, and I missed the customary orientation from the owner or caretaker. Interestingly, the next day, the owner posted an extensive list of restrictions for the small rented space on the chat box, which was unexpected.

I ended up being refunded because during my check in there was a mix up. 1st the guard was looking for an endorsement. I was provided by one but the guard said there was a different form that they should have provided. When I was finally allowed in the building, I went to floor only to find the lock box empty. I immediately messaged the host which in all fairness she was very responsive in this whole mix up. After waiting for 30 mins or so a foreign guy showed up asking if I was booked for the unit. He was the previous guest and he was just from the pool. He said he booked the unit for a week. He also mentioned that someone came by to clean the unit. So basically, The cleaner did not check if the prev guest completely checked out or got his things out and 2, they don’t change the lock box code since the prev guest got hold of the key. I had to take a different room which I looked for and ended up paying more than the unit.
