This is a little Gem of a place! Brilliant location. Straightforward entry. Cosy. Clean. Beautifully decorated. Cute little garden to sit out. Kitchen well equipped. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We booked the cottage last minute and it was a little gem. Great location within easy walking distance to seaside, restaurants and shops. I probably wouldn’t recommend for more than two people due to the size of the living area but for us as a couple it was great. Stairs up to main bedroom are quite steep so should keep this in mind. No off-street parking but we didn’t have a problem getting a park directly in front. Kitchen was very well fitted out with all that we need for a week-long stay. Communication with Pillow was excellent.

Full disclosure. - We grew up in Troon so we’re slightly biased because we absolutely love the town. We live in America now so this trip was a sort of homecoming. The town is safe, friendly and has a great selection of restaurants, beautiful beaches and walking trails. This cottage is immaculately clean, BEAUTIFULLY decorated and has a private front garden patio for relaxing in the sunshine, It is located within steps of the town and beach. Good wi-fi, plenty of towels, blankets, and with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Dorothy and Clifford met us on check-in to welcome us and were beyond awesome. Recommendations: The Maharani Indian restaurant around the corner might be the best Indian restaurant in the world. Scotts at Troon Marina is so scenic. Trains to Glasgow and beyond are reliable and frequent. The ferry to Arran is a terrific day out but dont miss Cecchinis at Clyde Marina before or after the sail.
