Relax in this cosy cottage just outside of the lovely village of Passais. The comfortable bedrooms and living make it the perfect choice for a family or friends. The refurbished cottage has retained its character but provides all the modern amenities to create a cosy and relaxing home away from home. The enclosed back garden looks out over beautiful traditional Normandy farmland and is a great place to sit and stargaze. This self-catering cottage provides all you'll need for a perfect stay, including WiFi throughout. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a toaster and a microwave. The living room is the perfect place to relax with lots of comfortable seating and a television. There is a log burner in the living room in addition to central hearing for when the nights turn chilly. An initial supply of logs, firelighters, paper and matches will be provided. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed, a wardrobe, a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a bath, an over-bath shower, a toilet and a sink. The second bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has a shower cubicle, a toilet and a sink. Limited toiletries will be provided in both bathrooms. Bed linen and towels will be provided to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. House Rules: - Check in times are negotiable (we are sympathetic to differing ferry times!). There is a key safe if needed. - Smoking is not allowed - There are on-site parking facilities - Pets are allowed, but please let us know in advance!

We had a beautiful peaceful stay, the weather wasn't great but the log burner made up for that. We found lots of good walks with the Visorando app just a short drive away. Eddie our dog was made most welcome and had a great time too. Thanks
Excellent séjour dans ce logement très calme de Passais. Joan et Tim sont accueillants et chaleureux tout en étant discrets. Nous avons apprécié les attentions comme le beurre, la confiture, le cidre mis à disposition ainsi que la cheminée toute prête pour une flambée. Le logement est propre, la literie impeccable et le salon très agréable. Le jardin et la vue sont également très plaisants. Nous recommandons ce logement sans réserves.
We stayed for 6 nights at Joan and Tim’s authentic French country house in Passais in a rainy February. From our hosts meeting us on our arrival to stocking the fridge with milk, butter, jam and a baguette, Joan and Tim made us feel right at home. The rental has been renovated to keep the wood burning stove but also has new kitchen appliances. It had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The heating system worked well. The showers had plenty of hot water and good pressure. We were very happy here living a French lifestyle. The backyard overlooks fields, bird feeders and orchards. If you are looking for a quiet bucolic place to rest, this is it. If you want to explore more of this divine French countryside, Joan and Tim will point you in the right direction.
We had a great stay! The house is very well-provisioned and Joan was extremely flexible, responsive and a very generous host. There was a wonderful fully-fenced garden for our dog and Joan had even gone to the trouble to put water and treats out for her. Recommended.
This property is equipped to a very high standard and well maintained. It has lovely views over the countryside, a beautiful garden and is ideal for walking dogs. Joan is a wonderful host. It even has English TV .

Passais Village is a very small, rural French Village with a butcher, a pharmacy, a corner shop and a fantastic bakery for any immediate needs.
The historic town of Domfront is a 15 minute drive away, including ruins of a castle once besieged by William the Conqueror.
If you feel like travelling further afield, the iconic Mont St Michel is just over an hour away, and the Museum of the Bayeux Tapestry is an hour and a half away.
