Our property is located in the Island Park neighborhood in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Island Park is a coastal neighborhood, surrounded by Mount Hope Bay on the north, the Saknonnet River on the south and curled around Blue Bill Cove.
Island Park real estate is primarily made up of small to medium sized homes which are seasonally occupied. The area is also popular with college students attending one of many Rhode Island schools.
Island Park Beach is nearby and is small bay beach providing a pebbly shore, gentle waves, close the local restaurants and facilities!
Stroll along Park Ave in either direction and you will find several low key casual eateries and a pub or two as well as a fun coffee shop which often hosts live music. Further along is 15 Point Rd for a more upscale experience, though the dress code here and everywhere is relaxed and casual.
Island Park is central to Providence, Little Compton and Newport, all wonderful places to visit and explore. Check out a boat rental if you'd like to visit all three by water!
From our place you can paddle across the calm waters of Blue Bill cove to the dock at the Coffee place for coffee, breakfast, lunch & brunch.
At Clements Market 2575 E Main Rd, Portsmouth you'll find the Blue Lobster Cafe for sandwiches and salads. You can take out or eat at an outside table. Great stop if you want to stock up on groceries for your stay in one trip.
For snack shack type fare, Schultzy's W-Su & Flo's Calm Shack Thu-Sun are seasonal and right on the Park Ave across from the beach.
South on the island on Aquidneck Ave is Ana Ds Sandwiches & Ice Cream (house made and delicious) or Fieldstones - Casual American. Head Northest to Tiverton and you'll find the Boathouse at 227 Schooner Dr - Locally sourced seafood & produce served in roantic environs on the banks of the Sakonnet River.
At 384 Main Rd Tiverton is Four Corners Grille, fresh, quality food, along with fast, friendly service at reasonable prices. They offer an eclectic menu, featuring fresh, locally-caught seafood, in a quint, casual, country setting.
Or Black Goose Cafe at 2160 Main Rd is a great spot for an impromptu lunch.
About 20 min from Waterfront Paradise is Barett's Alehouse. They offer pub fare and a full bar with music and games. 4171 North Main St, Fall River MA.

TF Greene in Warwick (listed as Providence) is the closet airport.
The house is walking distance to a few different restaurants. There is also an awesome coffee place next door which has live music on most summer weekends, you can paddle over in a kayak or float.
Lyft and Uber are limited, but Orange Cab is available 24/7 with call ahead.
