Had constant power issues, issues with the internet, difficult to find in the night time, hard to walk the property to your unit in the night time, the place feels like a weekend project where nothing gets complete, paneling falling off the wall, trash cans large enough to hold a McDonald's cup, no kitchen utensils to eat with or cook with (even though there is pots and pans), stained floors, awkward toilets in the units that are setup on pedestals. If you have a difficult time walking in the night - trying to go to the bathroom will be a trip on its own. Light switches are hidden on the ceiling (sorry, short people). The only good thing I can say is that the location was on the water. I really wanted this to work out - but it didn't :-( And based on the old comments - it seems nothing has changed in 2 years.

Ok location. No frills. Owner lives on site, could hear their dog barking through the wall. Nice view.

I am highly disappointed with my experience. Unfortunately, this place was a complete dump. The only redeeming qualities about this place were that it was on the water and a friendly cat that came to visit me in the backyard on Sunday morning, but other than that, it was a horrible experience. I have created a list of issues below: 1. Trying to find the unit was complex as it was all the way in the back without any lighting, instructions, or signage to guide you. 2. There were piles of "Stuff" just sitting all over the place throughout the property such as a boat, golf cart, day bed, old bikes, piles of discarded wood, old equipment, etc. It was just "trashy". 3. The landscaping looked like a 14-year-old ran through with an old push mower. Not at all professionally kept. Sad... 4. The back yard was just as "Trashy" with an empty, half deconstructed Jacuzzi, a huge pile of dirt next to it, patio furniture was strewn out all over the place with no uniformity, patio furniture cushions laying in the bushes, and extension cables running across the walkway (very unsafe) 5. The carpet in the unit was so dirty that it was sticky! 6. The rug in the unit was stained and very unsightly. 7. There was a portable AC placed in the unit even though it was not being used. This was very ugly and also provided an unsafe obstacle which I ran into several times in the middle of the night. 8. There was a live extension cable running across the patio, running through the screened door, and hung up next to the outdoor shower. This is not only ugly but potentially dangerous as it could pose a shocking hazard. 9. A loud party kept us up for several hours. People in the back yard drinking and carrying on. Shining flashlights up into our room. Not only was this irritating and rude, but we were also somewhat worried for our safety. 10. There was no trash can in our room. I communicated this to the owner and she had the property manager deliver one. I was told via text that it was placed "outside our door". The truth was that the large trash can was placed at the bottom of the staircase leading up to our room. I think that it's quite presumptuous to think that we, as guests, should be responsible for carrying this trash can up to the room. The least that someone could do for us was to place it by our door. In closing, I would say that this place looks like someone's "weekend project" and is not at all ready for guests. My suggestion would be to clean it up, get all the trash out of there, get a professional landscaper, do something with signage and lighting, and clean up the room. Put a little love into that property. It has so much potential... I can't in good faith give this place and our experience a good review. It was a total nightmare. Mike
