Hodh, House of Naila is an oasis in the city filled with trees and wild birds that delight! Hodh derives its name from the water body that used to supply the water for the “Bagh '' with its plantation of fruit trees and gardens once upon a time. Built by the Prime Minister of Jaipur, Fateh Singhji in 1876, the home was originally where the women of the house used to stay, known as the Zenana Mahal. Located just off the famed walled city that is now a UNESCO world heritage site. It sits in the heart of the city close to main attractions like Birla Mandir, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Johari Bazar, Bapu Bazar and restaurants like Palladio, Towns End and Clock Tower. It is adjacent to a marriage garden and night club “Club Naila”, so some nights can get noisy but often enjoyable too depending on the choice of music one likes. The Haveli has been renovated by the current owners Gayatri and Hameer. Hameer is a Captain in the Merchant Navy & Gayatri is a Deepak Chopra certified Wellbeing Coach, who offers one on one sessions, group sessions and weekend retreats for Ayurveda, Meditation and Wellbeing Coaching.
