The cottage a short drive from Downtown Durham, Duke University and Hospital, and the American Tobacco Campus. Walking distance to several coffee shops, parks, Museum of Life and Science, and Ellerbee Creek trail. A lovely little spot to rest and relax after a fun day exploring the area. You'll be staying in an adorable and private 430 sqft guest cottage tucked away in the corner of our backyard. The property is "business in the front, party in the back". The houses face a busy road, but the backyard is allll rest and and relaxation. The house is equipped with local art, coffee, vintage furniture, and warm cozy vibes. It's just half a mile from a beautiful park, and a mile from Ellerbee Creek Trail which will take you downtown (30-40 minute walk). We are also close to Omie’s coffee shop, Perfect Lovers coffee shop, and many authentic Mexican restaurants and tiendas. Enjoy watching our chickens while you drink your coffee on the deck, relax and read under the massive oak tree, hole up and watch a movie in the cozy bedroom. The kitchen is also stocked with any basics you’ll need for cooking. The cottage is a lovely and comfortable space to have as a homebase while you explore Durham and the surrounding areas.
