This was my second time here and so happy to be able to experience it in the Spring! I had a lovely peaceful time as usual and would’ve missed the solar flares if Conan’s dad hadn’t let me know about them that day - perfect place to spot with a clear sky you can see the stars! Always impressed on how well the woods and the grounds in general are taken care of - and the cabin has that perfect combo of feeling you are camping a bit but all the amenities of a cozy bed and fire. Conan and his parents are the great hosts, so friendly and helpful and I always enjoy chatting to them. I go for a peaceful quiet mini retreat and it always delivers !

This is definitely one of my favourite places to stay! Not having a car and just looking for an easy way to walk and sit in the woods, it’s perfect with it’s beautiful private woodlands and grounds and nearby fields/ other woods. Conan was an excellent host, very engaged and checked in regularly - his parents are so sweet and friendly and made me feel right at home. They gave great advice and helped me with any queries, they were so gracious in their hosting. We had great conversations and I look forward to seeing them again! The artist lodge is beautiful with all it’s windows looking out to the beautifully landscaped ponds and ducks and above to the sky and stars. It felt like camping in that I’d take my morning coffees right in the woods, but with the comfort of a cozy bed and all the amenities. When I first got there I had an impromptu swing on it’s tree swing which started the trip out nicely :) It’s a special place in many ways and I am already planning my return this spring!

Wot can I say ... the cabin was perfect ... from first contact with Conan, who responded to any questions to the location and everything in-between. Directions were spot on and although Conan wasn't there in person called to make sure I was happy with everything as I arrived at the cabin. Being a vegan Conan ensured that I was catered for with the breakfast provisions - which were great. The cabin is so spacious and the roof windows let in so much light during the day to letting you see the amazing stars at night. The log burner was easy to manage. The grounds and duck pond were a pleasure to be around. Unfortunately the badgers stayed away so hopefully catch up with them next time. The only downside was that I was only there for two nights. Its magical.

Just got back from a relaxing stay at the Artist's Lodge and absolutely loved it! I took my mum away so we could escape the world for a couple of days and couldn't have found a more perfect location! The lodge is spacious and comfortable with everything you need for a few days of chill out time. There's no TV but there is a record player that also has a Bluetooth function, a CD player and an artist's easel. We are by no means artists and neither of us have ever painted on a canvas before but we took a few with us and some paints and had such a lovely time standing out by the pond painting the afternoon and following morning away! We woke up to bird song and ducks quacking before walking through the beautiful woodland and surrounding fields and then took a short 20 minute drive into Canterbury. Conan kept excellent communication from the moment I booked and checked in to make sure all was OK with our stay. His parents were lovely and even had a fire lit for our arrival. 10/10 service!

Perfect very private place for us to stay overnight with our dog before our early morning Eurotunnel to France (only 15 minute drive). We were made extremely welcome by the family and communication was great. Very well equipped rustic cabin and lots of goodies in the fridge for us and even treats for our dog and a dog bed. Thank you so much Conan and family. We loved it.
